Elementary (3rd–5th): Strengthening the basics: focus on the critical transition from learning to read to reading to learn and the shift from basic arithmetic to abstract mathematical reasoning.
Middle School (6th–8th) Building academic discipline: the focus shifts from foundational literacy and arithmetic to academic discipline and abstract reasoning. Students must transition from having one primary teacher to managing multiple subjects, complex schedules, and increased independent responsibility.
High School (9th–12th): Mastering complex subjects: from building general academic discipline to mastering complex subjects and preparing for high-stakes transitions like college or the workforce.
